Sculptra is in a class of its own. Unlike traditional fillers that add volume immediately, Sculptra works by stimulating your body's own collagen production — rebuilding the structural foundation of your face from the inside out. The result is a gradual, natural-looking restoration that can last over two years.
How Sculptra Works
Consultation & Facial Mapping
Your FNP-BC provider assesses your facial anatomy, volume loss patterns, and aesthetic goals. A customized Sculptra treatment plan is designed — typically 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
Preparation & Reconstitution
Sculptra vials are reconstituted with sterile water 72 hours before treatment to ensure optimal consistency. The treatment area is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied for comfort.
Injection & Massage
Sculptra is injected into the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissue using a fine needle or cannula. Immediately after, the area is massaged thoroughly — the 5-5-5 rule (massage 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days) is essential for even distribution.
Gradual Collagen Stimulation
Over the following weeks and months, PLLA microparticles stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen. Volume and structural improvement develop gradually — most patients see full results at 3–6 months after their final session.
